4/25/08. News of the good variety! We are releasing a 3 or 4 song 7" this summer. Tracks have been sent for mastering and we should receive them soon! We haven't decided on a title or art yet.
I added some picture from our recording sessions in August. That's all for now; expect to hear from us in the next few weeks!

8/26/07. Summer is almost over; I start school tomorrow and the guys start in about a week and a half. Alex is on his wayback to Kansas as I type this; he and Charlie have both been here for the last week or so. We've gotten some recording done, but we're not thinking of releasing any of it just yet.
That's all! Someday, a new release.....someday....

12/31/06. Happy New Year, everyone! We hope your holidays are/were incredible. Not a whole lot of news here; Charlie just finished a semester-long internship in Chicago and will be back at Carleton within a couple of days. Marie moved to Fargo, ND in August this year and has finished her first semester at Minnesota State University, Moorhead. Alex has finished his third semester at George Washington University in DC.
We're working on new material right now. Some of it falls into a much more electronic category than what we have done in the past, and some of it is closer to where we left off with Zurich. We're still sort of deliberating over which direction to go (maybe both!), so we can't tell you when to expect a release of any of this music. That's really all we have to say about that.
Consider this our holiday card and have a lovely 2007!

8/02/06. I suppose I could have updated about this earlier, but we sort of called off the tour. We're still working on some material which we'll hopefully be recording this month sometime; we're hoping to piece an album together by next summer. That's pretty much all the news for now; hope everyone is doing all right!

4/19/06.
After another few months, it's time for another update! We've got some new material which we'll hopefully be recording over the summer; we're looking at a release by the end of the year, hurrah!
There will be another tour this summer, probably in late July/August.
And I think that's all the news for now. We were reviewed at www.derives.net, for those of you who speak French.....Yes. Rock.

11/08/05.
Hello again! It's been a long, long time and I, Marie, have been a lazy, lazy person. An update is long overdue.
The tour was for the most part wonderful; I've put up some photos; if anyone we played for happens to have any more, would you please email them to me? Thanks very much.
Okay, the reason this update took so long is that it's not really an update. We have no idea what our plans are for next year. We'd love to record a full-length, we might play a few shows in March with Page France, we're thinking of probably touring again next summer....to tell the truth, we haven't got anything set in stone yet. If there's one thing that's super hard for this long-distance band to come by, it's rehearsal and recording time. So. That's what's up.

7/09/05 This is the y-chromosome sporting member of our little outfit updating for the first time. Rehearsals are coming along well enough (although for a long time they weren't really coming along at all due to technical difficulties [thank you Korg Canada]). Now that we're sporting some stellar new equipment, a laptop with a few cooked beats, and an unofficial member or two we just might be ready to take on this massive undertaking.
Speaking of which, here's a sneak peak at our schedule as of right now (note: incomplete and mos def subject to change)

Awesome, awesome. Zurich is scheduled for release on July 20, and is now available for pre-order at www.fallrecords.com. (Preorder both Zurich and our friends Page France's "Hello, Dear Wind!" and get either our t-shirt or theirs for free. Yay!) You may also stream it at www.purevolume.com/foliage. Oh yeah, and we've changed our name to the White Foliage. Tour booking is coming along....slowly....we're touring with some friends of ours, Alex and Ryan; you can check out our online press kit at www.fallrecords.com/foliagepresskit. I think that's all the news for now; we should post tour dates sometime soon maybe.

6/13/05.
Oof! Not a single update for MONTHS! Shame on me! Not even a comment on the lovely website Chris set up for us. I suck.
I update today, though, and bring you all good news. Charlie sent the final mixes in to Fall Records on Saturday. (Um, if this isn't good news, you're probably at the wrong website.) It'll come out next month. Whee! Tour booking is going more slowly than I'd prefer, but it will get done. I swear. The beginning date of the tour has been pushed back to July 24, and we'll be done around August 19. It looks as though we're also having t-shirts printed soon. I'll keep you updated. No, really, I will.

3/13/05.
Hey here's a new fancy site. lookin' good if I say so myself - chris (fall)

2/17/05.
Why hello again! I just thought I'd let everyone know that plans are underway for a four-song EP, entitled "Zurich," which will hopefully be released in May or June of this year. Also, we will begin our six-week long tour around July 10. We're looking at a route that will circle the plains; passing through Minnesota, Wisconsin, Ilinois, Missouri, Kansas, New Mexico, Nevada, California, Washington, Montana and North Dakota. This is still tentative, of course; I'll post exact dates when we're finished booking. We're super excited about this tour/release! Anyway, that's all the news I've got for now. Have a nice day!

12/28/04.
Happy Holidays, everybody! I am sick of having the same old news up on the site, so I decided to update just for the sake of updating. We don't really have any news right now, though, besides plans for a tour next summer which will probably last for about six weeks. Our plans are extremely flimsy right now and our route is flexible. We're going to try and put out a small release by the time we tour, but it won't be anything huge. Probably a single. The reason I don't really consider this "news" is that none of our plans are set in stone yet. I just thought I'd let everybody know that we at least have SOME plan for this summer.
We hope you are all enjoying your holidays, and wish you all a happy New Year.

9/17/04.
Well, here's the new site; I was going to get it done earlier, but....I didn't. Charlie made the image map (It's awesome; I love it) and I just did all the easy crap. We should have a banner up soon--oh, by the way, anytime I say "coming soon" on this site, that means "coming in a few months if I'm really feeling organized."
The guys and I are all in college now; they're in Northfield, MN and I'm all the way over here in Minot, ND. (gah! So far away! I like Minot, though.)
In other news, Fall Records is about to release another split (The Conversation & Southerly). If you're a good person, you will check it out.

7/04/04.
Well then! It's been quite a while! Unfortunately, my computer has been somewhat out-of-sorts lately, and I haven't been able to do any updating.
The split was released on May 22 at Fall. Woo! Our two shows (Minneapolis was cancelled) went pretty well; I hear IIP had a good tour as well.
Let's welcome ERIC GRAALUM to the band! Woot!!! Eric is a resident of Fargo (or will be until August) and is playing drums and bass so far. Later on he may choose to play other instruments as well.
I've written up a more-lengthy-than-I-intended Bio, and have gotten started on re-vamping this sorry excuse for a webpage. It'll look better when it's finished, hopefully....like maybe a not as sorry excuse for a webpage.

5/14/04.
We should be recieving the CDs in the mail in a few days! How exiting! It's not officially released on Fall until the 22nd, but is available for pre-order, at the price of $10.
Looks like there won't really be a "tour" by the real definition of the word; however, if our plans don't fall through we'll be accompanying IIP at their shows on the 26th, 27th and 28th of June, in Minneapolis, Fargo and Bismarck, respectively. HOT.

4/14/04.
Woo! Back, after almost two months of not updating. We've gotten all our recording done for the split (entitled "How to Make Better Love") and Charlie mailed it in to Fall yesterday. "Oof." says he. The split will sell for $8; it should be out mid-May and will be available for order on Fallrecords.com at that time....I'd make an online form for this page, but....well, my HTML skills are limited, as you can surmise by my rather elementary webpage here. *shrug* If you want to order from us, you can email us here.
More updates soon I hope? Till then, Ja ne!

2/25/04.
Well, I've finally gotten around to designing a rudimentary webpage for the band. I'm not quite sure what we'll end up putting on it....just some MP3s, lyrics, a couple pictures and tour dates. This page, of course, is in its fetal stages, so we won't have any of that stuff up for a while. Just know that our split with In Ink Please will be coming out in May (tentatively) on Fall Records. Also, IIP will be touring during the month of June, and as of now our plan is to join them as soon as I (Marie) get back from England (about the 17th or 18th.) More news/stuff soon.
